Mental HealthThe Sub-conscious mind is the part of the mind that reacts to past experiences, this is where we store our fear and automatic patterns of behaviour - this is the part of the mind that is accessed during meditation and can be "re-programmed" to act in a more positve way.
The Super-Conscious mind is connected to our "higher self" and the divine that is within all of us, this is the part of us that knows Love.... etcOne has a conscious and subconscious mind and also a super consciousness. The normal waking consciousness is where we tend to spend most of our waking hours.

This Conscious mind is the:
Ego Mind.
Rational thinking mind.
Is the Logical part of our mind.
It focuses on what is going on out there rather than focussing on what is happening inside oneself. Feed your minds with good positive thoughts (fear comes from the ego)

The Subconscious mind:

Irrational thinking mind
We are run by our subconscious beliefs.
If you are angry it is because somewhere you have touched a memory of anger.
The current event that one thinks has made one upset was only triggered by that old pain. One can access these old pains by meditation/relaxation exercises and Hypnosis.
One thinks with one's conscious mind and whatever one habitually thinks goes into the subconscious mind.

If one thinks good, good will happen. If one thinks bad, bad will happen. The subconscious can be programmed by positive affirmations, self talk visualisations & meditation.

The Brain

brain 2The human brain makes up 2% of the body's weight but uses about 20% of its energy. A human adult's brain weighs about 3 pounds (1.5 kg). Scientists believe that the modern human adult's brain is about 10% smaller than it was 10,000 years ago, which is thought to be due to the introduction of agriculture and less of a need to be hunter-gatherers.
A human adult's brain is about three times as large in relation to the rest of the body when compared with the brains of other similarly sized mammals. It also uses up a large amount of energy, requiring about 20% of the body’s energy supply even though the brain is just 2% of the body’s mass.

"Please, no more shock treatments!"

ectElectroconvulsive therapy (ECT) has harmed more people than help them. I personally have seen the damages it has done to people that I had to help. After a treatment like that the client is always worse of. For more infomation and the negative effects of ECT click on the below link

The electric current in combination with the seizure always damages the brain because it always results in an immediate deep coma, often with a flat-lining of the patient's brain waves similar to brain death, followed inevitable by signs of severe closed-head injury such as memory loss, disorientation, confusion, impaired judgment, loss of personality, and emotional instability.
The symptoms worsen and become permanent with increasing numbers in routine treatment. Because one and usually both electrodes are positioned over the front lobes, ECT produces a closed-head electrical lobotomy.
